We now participate in the Commercial HVAC and the Commercial Boiler Programs. These programs offer rebates for installing new systems.
Commercial HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) Program:
HVAC units that use up to 400,000 BTU/hour, get a rebate of $10 per 1000 BTU. There is no pre-approval needed prior to installation of the HVAC unit. Therefore, any paperwork for the rebate is a smooth and quick process.
Commercial Boiler Program:
Boilers that use more than 400,000 BTU/hour receive a rebate of $14 per 1000 BTU for the first 600,000 BTU, and then $3 per 1000 BTU for anything above 600,000 BTU. There is a pre-approval process. This process can take up to 3 weeks for approval by SaskEnergy offices).
Some conditions for this boiler program:
- Boiler models must be on the SaskEnergy approved boiler list.
- These incentives apply to new buildings, and also to replacing established boilers in buildings.
- Once A&H Spring Mechanical Ltd. has been paid in full, we will take care of the rebate application, and a cheque will be issued to you directly (from SaskEnergy).
These are some Examples of how much you will save through this program:
- for a unit with 150,000 BTU, you will receive $1500 rebate
- for a unit with 400,000 BTU, you will receive $5600 rebate
- for a unit with 600,000 BTU, you will receive $8400 rebate
- for a unit with 900,000 BTU, you will receive $9300 rebate (600 x $14, 300 x $3)
